Brother Thomas O'Neill, O.S.F. died on December 29, 2007 at Queen of Peace Residence.

Brother Thomas, son of John and Ellen O'Neill was born and raised in Greenpoint and attended Saint Anthony's Grammar School.

He received the habit on 1956 and was professed in 158 and began his teaching career at Saint Francis Xavier, Park Slope. During the next ten years he taught at Saint Brigid, Ridgewood, Our Lady of Angels, Bay Ridge and Notre Dame, New Hyde park.

In 1968 he was assigned to Saint Francis Prep and became Assistant Principal in 1973.

In 1979 he became the Campus Minister at Saint Francis College. During that same period he was a Counselor in the Financial Aid Office and was Director of Financial Aid beginning in 1985. He was currently the Director of the Study Abroad Programs at the College.

Brother Thomas was a Graduate of Saint Francis College and did Graduate Studies at Saint John's University and New York University.
